Why Train With K4
WHO WE ARE
K4 Training is part of the K4 Group Services family, and we lean on that background every time we run a course. We’re based in Hounslow, and as an SIA-approved training provider, we train people for real security work, not just for a certificate to file away. Whether you’re starting, switching careers or coming back to work after time off, our SIA licence training UK courses are built around what the job actually asks of you, updated as the industry changes around it.
- SIA licence training
- CCTV operator courses
- First aid & emergency care
- Spectator safety certification

JOIN OUR Team
Behind every course is a team who’s actually done the job, not just taught it. Our trainers bring real security and emergency-care backgrounds into the classroom, so what you’re learning isn’t theory. If you’re an experienced security or first-aid professional and fancy passing that experience on. We’re always glad to hear from people who want to train the next intake rather than just sit in one.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is K4 Training accredited?
Yes. K4 Training’s courses are accredited by nationally recognised awarding bodies, including Qualsafe. The FREC 3 course, for example, leads to a Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF), a qualification employers across the UK recognise.
Do I need any experience to join a course?
No. Courses like the Full SIA Door Supervisor and SIA CCTV Operator are built for beginners; most learners start with little or no security background. FREC 3 is more advanced, so previous first aid experience is recommended, though not required.
How long do the courses take?
It depends on the course. The SIA CCTV Operator Course runs 3 days, FREC 3 runs 5 days and the Full SIA Door Supervisor course runs 6 days, including first aid. Exact dates are shown on each course page.
What support will I get during training?
You get instant access to your learning materials as soon as you book, plus hands-on, scenario-based teaching from trainers with real security and emergency-care backgrounds, not just people reading off slides.
Can I train with my team on-site?
Yes. K4 Training runs onsite and corporate courses for security companies, construction firms and facilities management teams, alongside our open courses at our Hounslow training centre.
Will this help me get a job in security?
An SIA licence training UK is a legal requirement to work in most security roles in the UK. SIA licence training, first aid & emergency care, CCTV operator courses and Spectator safety certification are among them. Our courses focus on what employers expect on shift, not just what’s needed to pass the exam.
How much does it cost?
Prices vary by course: the SIA CCTV Operator Course is £200, the Full SIA Door Supervisor course is £250, and FREC 3 is £475. There are no hidden fees beyond the price you’re quoted.
What happens after I book?
You’ll get instant access to your course materials through our LMS, along with confirmation of your dates and location. From there, it’s just a case of turning up ready to learn, and if you’d rather train in person than search “SIA training centres near me” online, our Hounslow centre is open and ready for you.
